Before Usage

  • 1) Login the EZVIZ account which you have registered.

    2) Press the "+" sign to begin the process of adding your device.

    3) From the device sticker located on the back/bottom of the camera scan the QR code or manually input the serial number of the device.

    4) Follow the wizard to add your device to your EZVIZ account.

  • Please check the following settings below:

    1) Check the frequency band on your router to ensure that it allows 2.4 GHz network mode transmission.

    2) Ensure that your mobile phone is on the WiFi and ensure that the WiFi network is active and functional

    3) Check the network condition:

    •Make sure your network has no firewall and no other limit.

    •Ensure the router can distribute IP address to your device or disable the static IP setting (DHCP is enabled by default on all EZVIZ devices).

    4) Reset your camera; ensure that your device is in ready mode or Wi-Fi configuration mode > then use the EZVIZ mobile app for device Wi-Fi configuration.

  • 1) If registered an account via email, please check your junk mail.

    If still do not receive the verification code, you might have email filter/block restricting this email, please check with your email provider.

    2) If registered an account via mobile number, please confirm if your mobile can receive SMS short codes.

    3) If you do not receive the verification code please provide your number, your country, time of request to the support center at support@ezvizlife.com or contact your regional support team.

  • You have to use the EZVIZ mobile app to re-configure the Wi-Fi password when the password changes. Here’s how:

    • Reset the device first;

    • Connect your phone to the Wi-Fi network;

    • Select the camera that displays its status as "Offline";

    • Go to the camera settings page;

    • Click on the Wi-Fi Configure tab;

    • Enter the new password > then follow the prompt to complete the setup;

  • When this message pops up, it means that the device has already been connected to an existing EZVIZ account. To add it to a new account, you need to remove the device from the previous account since a device can only be bound to one account. For different situations, please refer to the guide below:

    1) If you received the device from other people, please contact the previous owner and ask them to remove the device from their account for you. At EZVIZ, we respect the user’s ownership of their devices and data.

    2) If this is a brand-new product, please return it to the place where it is purchased and explain the problem that you encountered.

    3) If you’ve forgotten the login info to your old account, please try as many times as you can. We strongly encourage that you update the email or phone number before changing a service provider. We also recommend that you keep your password strong and safe to ensure the normal usage of your device.

  • 1) Every EZVIZ device comes with a factory programmed verification code or Users have to set their own passwords. For privacy protection, unauthorized users cannot access videos, playback and images without a verification code.

    2) EZVIZ adopts HTTPS in order to protect users' connection to our website. Hypertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS) is a combination of the Hypertext Transfer Protocol with the SSL/TLS protocol to provide encryption and secure identification of the server.

    3) EZVIZ uses end-to-end SSL/TLS encryption to prevent data interception and theft.

    4) Only valid emails/phone numbers can be used to register EZVIZ account, EZVIZ implements email/phone number verification by sending verification codes to allow users complete critical account activities, like creating an account, retrieving lost password etc.


  • To connect to a different Wi-Fi network, press the RESET button for 5 seconds to Reset your camera and begin the process to reconnect the device to the Wi-Fi.

    Ensure that your EZVIZ device is in ready mode or Wi-Fi configuration mode > then use the EZVIZ mobile app for device Wi-Fi configuration. Within the EZVIZ mobile app, from the home page, tap on the name/serial number of the device > then tap on "Wi-Fi" and follow the prompts and complete the setup.

  • 1) Select “Generate a QR Code” to configure Wi-Fi

    2) Input your Wi-Fi password. (The mobile app will reveal the WiFi network that your phone is connected to)

    3) Use your camera lens to scan the generated QR code won the screen of your phone. Keep camera lens 5 inches from the QR code, when the indicator on the camera is blinking blue, it means Wi-Fi configuration is successful. Then click “Next” to connect EZVIZ Cloud.

    You can also find these settings located in the App settings page:

    From the Home page tap on “More” > function settings > Wi-Fi configuration tool.

    For devices with AP pairing mode, please ensure that the Wi-Fi password is correct or contact support@ezvizlife.com or your regional support team.

  • 1) Login into your EZVIZ account

    2) Press the "+" sign at top right corner in “Home” page to get to the device addition page

    3) Manually input the serial number of the device > Follow the prompt to complete the setup

  • 1) Check the frequency band of your router to ensure that it maintains and allows 2.4 GHz mode transmission.

    2) Ensure that the mobile phone is on the Wi-Fi network and ensure that the Wi-Fi network is online and functional.

    3) Check the network condition:

    •Make sure your network has no firewall and no other limit.

Like most WordPress plugins, the installation of WooCommerce Serial Numbers is very simple and straightforward. If you have any experience of installing a WordPress plugin, there is nothing new for you. Most importantly, you need to have WooCommerce installed and activated on your site. How Does It Work:

WooCommerce Serial Numbers work for both virtual and downloadable products. First of all, you need to install and activate the plugin to enjoy its features. Once you activate the plugin, you will find a new menu option on your dashboard called Serial Numbers. You will find all the options associated with WooCommerce Serial Numbers under the new menu option.

To license enable or serial enable a product, you need to add serial numbers with that product. Simply add serial numbers with the product following the available options. When a customer purchases a license enabled product, a license key will be added with the order when the order is complete. You can also set orders to auto-complete for your license/serial enabled products. Serial Numbers are displayed on the order confirmation page and also added with the order confirmation email. Your customers will be able to find the serial numbers in their account section under the order details too.

🔑 How To Create/Add A License Key:

You will find that adding a license key is very easy. To create a serial number, you need to click on the Add New button to create a new serial number.

👉 First of all, select your desired product from the add new serial number interface. You can select the correct product from the dropdown by typing one or more characters of the product name.

👉 Secondly, you need to add the desired license/serial key from the Serial Number tab. You can use any combination of numbers and letters to make the license/serial key. You can also input multiple lines as your secret key.

👉 Thirdly, you have to deal with the “Activation Limit”. This is mostly applicable to software and game licenses. You can restrict the number of activation for the license from this section. For example, you have to enter 1 if you want to allow only a single activation with the key.

👉 Fourthly, comes the “Validity” section. This field takes days as input. If you want your license to be valid for one year then you need to enter 365 here. Note that, the count of days starts from the purchase date.

👉 Finally, comes the “Expires At” option. Enter a date from the pop-up calendar. Serial Numbers will expire after this date and they will not be assigned with any order after this date.

If you are not selling license keys for software or games then, you can ignore the third and fourth option. You can disable this from the Settings section by enabling Disable Software Support.

Compatibility:

WooCommerce Serial Numbers is only dependent on WooCommerce. Apart from that, you should at least have 5.6 as your PHP & MySQL version. We have tested this plugin thoroughly to make sure it operates seamlessly under every situation. We did not detect any problem or conflict during our test. Buyer Beware. I purchased this plugin for some pro-features after evaluating the free version as well as reading the documentation and playing with the provided sandbox environment. It's difficult to test for every use-case in a sandbox, so I bit the bullet and made the purchase. Then I ran into a roadblock. After some back and forth live chat, it was determined that the plugin didn't support my use case (manually assigning serial numbers). I kindly asked for a refund and was refused twice. Even though the public documentation wasn't clear on this feature. For those wondering: you CAN turn off auto serial number assignment when orders are made, but you CANNOT choose which serial number to assign (so whats the point?). Pretty poor way to earn your business, in my opinion.
This plugin I bought to make a draw of a car and so gave each user a number for the draw and the truth is that I am delighted with it and with the support that has been very quick to solve all my doubts and in acting when I did not know what to do. 100%
