3.      Give firewall and antivirus exceptions for manicapital.com, Tally manicapital.com, Tally license manicapital.com files > Add server name and port number in firewall.

4.      Reinstall Tally in different drive.

Steps related to synchronisation-

-On server > Press F12 > Advanced configuration > Tally is acting as server > enter and accept it .

-Enable security control for the server company > Check and connect name in F11 > manicapital.com features

-Press F4 to connect the company on server.

-On client Press F12 > Advavanced configuration > Tally is acting as client and accept it.

-For client company > enable security control > On client > go to gateway of tally> import of data > synchronisation > clienyt rule> create

-On client . go to gateway of tally > Import of data > synchronisation >

client rule note- You all gert the message Sync start company name: Sync end in control panel.

On server > go to gateway of Tally > Import Of Data > Synchronisation > server rule > activate .

F12 : advanced configuration

1. Enable sync logging (stock manicapital.com)- It generates a log file inside Tally folder which contains the infor. about the synchronised vouchers.

2. Truncate the previous log file before synchronisation- It overwrites  the contents of prevoious log file .

3. Enab;le http log (Tally HTTP log)- HTTP .log file gets generated to login all soap & HTTP  port request  responses

4. To synchronising the data in between , command is Alt + Q

go to gateway of tally > Press Alt +  F3 > Change tally vault > Press enter > enter the password in new password  and repeat password field > press enter

2. donot forget your tally vault password because the data once lost cannot be retrieved.

Security level creation

go to gateway of tally > Press Alt + F3 > Press security control -users and passwords and   types of security

Group company

To view the consolidated reports of the number of companies we make a group company. Company selected first for the creation of Group company -> only vouchers of that company can be seen not of all companies.   A Group Company can be created only for companies that have already been loaded. Hence, you must first load the companies whose accounts are to be grouped. Select the companies using F1:Select Cmp button.

On the gateway of tally > we can see the name of two or more companies that are loaded > Press Alt + F3 > select create group company > Press Enter on Create Group Company.

Entering a Transaction is not possible in Group Company, that is, in AB Group company. [You have to enter the transaction in a member company only, that is, Company A or Company B]

Job work in Tally. ERP9

1.       Create company.

2.      Enabling jobwork in Tally Erp 9 , go to gateway of Tally > Press F11 > F2 > allow joborder processing / use material in and out / Track stock item cost / maintain multiple godowns to YES.

3.      Allow job order processing- on enabling this feature in the gateway of tally > a new option order voucher will be displayed.   (job work in order and job)

4.      Material in and out- To create material in and out vouchers in inventoryk stock item  vouchers.

5.      Track stock item cost- If you want to track the cost of item from purchase till sale. On enebling this option in stock item master enable cost tracking field will be manicapital.com(Sundry debtors)                                                      Jobworker- TSM manufacturer/ global manufacturer(Sundry creditors)

6.      Voucher type creation                                                                                                            Raw material in(material in) - finished goods out(material out) - Manufacturing journal(Stock journal)

7.      Job work in cycle (where raw materials are used for manufacturing from  job workers godown)                                                                                                              Job worker in order -> Material in (service godown -NA) -> Material out (for transferred material, count tracking for order no. , destination godown : Jobwork in) -> MAnufacturing journal (godown : jobwork in) -> Material out (Destination godown -NA) -> Sales invoice in item invoice -> Receipts voucher

8.      Item cost tracking- it can be done in voucher having movement or have an intent to create inventory movement in future , for a specific item , such as order vouchers , receipts notes, delivery notes etc. Item cost tracking option appears only in Expense, Purchase, Income & sales ledger.

9.      Jobwork (Sub contracting in manicapital.com9)

            - Jobwork out > giving sub contract work to third party , Godown (imp. role)

            -Jobw recork in> Receiving sub contract.

Error messages

&#;         After surrendering the license, and while reactivating if the message appears "couldnot reactivate the surrender  license" then it means that the license has not been surrendered properly.

surrender license first > Ctrl + K > login using remote manicapital.com id and password > then select option license management > there in status it will show pending for confirmation> take the cursor to the status option click there and press space bar > select the option confirm > then come out of control centre and again login > then , in the status it will show status as active > select the surrender there and then enter and accept it > license is surrenderred success fully.

&#;         While selecting any company it shows error message as"internal error contact tally solutions unable to read message/ file damaged error code xxxx"

            In this case, close tally first , right click on tally icon > properties > shortcut > find            target > open the Data folder > open the particular company in which such error      is occuring > delete all .tsf files > close the folder >then perforn zero rerwite      (forced rewrite) i.e     copy the targer path > paste it in Run give space write data     space 0 > click ok >     tally will open > then press Ctrl + Alt + R > select the           company for rewrite > it will      ask for back up before rewrite > enter and accept it            > after the rewrite procedure            is complete > open the tally and select the error company.
