If you bought it off steam then it shouldn't ask for a CD-Key. I purchased this game along with Batman Arkham Asylum this weekend.  I did not receive a key for Arkham City in my receipt.  I was assured I would get my money back by customer support.  Well, on Monday, I got a receipt with a license for Arkham City.  That's fine, I wanted the game.  However, after installing today, the key that was given to me will not activate the product. 

I get a dialog box that says Activation Failed, then the text below:

Activation process has been terminated
The serial number was not found in the database. Most likely the serial number has been entered incorrectly.
Press 'Back' to retry activating (please verify the correct input of the serial number) or click 'Exit' to abort.

I am not sure what the problem is, other than the key simply does not work.  I am not really sure who to go through about this.
