Sound Forge 6 serial key or number

Does SF open independently w/o the serial # message. SF is a separate app and must be activated separately from Vegas.

Hi everyone,

I've contacted support and have waited over 48 hours and still no response.

Does anyone know how long it usually takes?

The team has contacted me and let me know that the serial number will be sent seperately.

I removed the Resolved Tag, now that eight days have passed.

No I haven't received the key and frankly, I'm upset with this negligence

It\s not the delayed use of Sound Forge that's bugging me; I own a copy of Reaper and it has been sufficient for my use. What upsets me is this continued policy (sure as hell seems that way) of keeping customers guessing throughout vague circumstances or relying on their patience.

If there's a problem generating the keys, customers should be made aware of it. If the company needs a month to get the key for Sound Forge, then customers should be made aware of it .This silent attitude is simply inexcusable for a firm, whether small or large. We've paying for this stuff.


I shouldn't be compelled to do any kind of investigative work to acquire something I've already paid for.

I love the brand, but no amount of brand loyalty will make me see this as any less careless.

Notify us if the product's going to be delayed or don't offer it all. It's the least that you can do. The LEAST

I got an email from the team saying that Sound Forge Key doesn't get distributed with 365 VEGAS POST. This is after I initiated by supplying them the contract data and everything, so they should've led with that the first time.

But nope.

This, of course, pissed me off, considering that installation file came with VEGAS POST 365 download.

MAGIX (not VEGAS ) has an uncanny knack for defining new lows.

Vegas has always had third party "add ons" - and that track record is such as to make me not want any of them, because even if they work, they'll often work for one version, Veg. 12 and not 13, etc. They have also, in the past, been the source of many crash events. Magix, to my knowledge, NEVER has add-ons, at least not normally, and they would not have those sorts of time-out restrictions.

BTW, Soundforge is part of what was the Vegas family of sound tools, going way back, i.e., Sonic Foundry, along with Acid. I don't really know who is to blame, but I would resist any such attempts to pin this solely on Magix. Yes, they are the parent company, but Vegas has always worked with a sort of autonomy, in the Sony days as well.
